Where Did Spring Go?

Seriously...where did the Spring go?  The last 2 months have flown by.  In May, we went to my youngest Bro.'s graduations & final concerts.  It was a nostalgic moment knowing that they would be the last high school events I will ever attend for a sibling.
After the seminary graduation, we ran outside to catch the eclipse.  Bryce poked a hole in a Styrofoam cup and held it up to the van.  I was pretty impressed with how much we could see!

As a child, we would push a handcart from Paragonah to Parowan to remember our pioneer heritage.  Our trek always included stopping at a large lone tree for lunch and pioneer stories.  While we didn't do the walk this year, we still took a minute to visit the headstone of my Great-Great Grandmother and tell her story.  I guess the kids were pretty impressed because then they wanted to know every headstone's story.  Elina was so sweet to gather flowers that had blown away and place them on "forgotten" stones.  Granted, they were the flowers she didn't want anymore, but a sweet gesture none-the-less.
Aaron LOVED the father's & Son's camp out this year.  There's nothing better then a bunch of sticks, dirt and fire!!

Elina felt a little left out that there aren't Mother & Daughter camp outs, so Bryce took her along to the Bishopric night at girls camp.
Since our anniversary fell on Father's Day this year, we had double the celebration.  With a Saturday night date, Breakfast in bed & a yummy pot pie dinner I didn't want to go all out with dessert, so we just made a fun candy bar poster!  Happy 7th Annivers-Father's Day!!

I love throwing our half-birthdays each Summer.  I hope the neighbors don't mind.  It's just so fun to play in the water and get fun outside toys.  This year, the kids wanted cupcakes & watermelon.  With 19 kids in all, we had a "splashing" time.  It's just too bad that darn wind almost blew us all away!
